Pre-cast piles are manufactured and cured off-site (or at a
casting yard) and then driven or jacked into the ground at the project site.
This method offers strong quality control since the concrete is cast under
controlled conditions, and is often faster to install than cast-in-situ piles
in suitable soil conditions.
