Cast-in-Situ (Bored) Pile Foundation
Cast-in-situ pile foundation involves boring a hole into the ground to the
required depth and then filling it with reinforced concrete on-site. This
method is widely used in Bangladesh for high-rise buildings, bridges, and
industrial structures where high load-bearing capacity and adaptability to
varying soil conditions are required.
Our Process
1. Site survey and pile layout
marking as per structural drawing
2. Boring using
rotary/percussion rig to the design depth, with casing and using bentonite
slurry support to prevent collapse (when needed)
3. Cleaning of the borehole base
to remove loose sediment
4. Lowering of reinforcement
cage to the designed depth
5. Concrete pouring using the
tremie method to avoid segregation and ensure continuous, void-free concrete
6. Curing and quality checks,
including concrete cube testing
Equipment Used
• Rotary bore piling rigs
• Tremie pipes for
underwater/slurry concreting
• Reinforcement cage
fabrication tools
• Concrete batching and
pumping equipment
Standards Followed
• Bangladesh National Building
Code (BNBC)
• ASTM D1143 (for related load
testing)
• Site-specific structural
design specifications provided by consulting engineers
Typical Applications
• High-rise residential
and commercial buildings
• Industrial factories and
warehouses
• Bridges and flyovers
• Sites with variable or soft
soil conditions where driven piles are unsuitable

Frequently Asked Questions
• What pile diameters do you
offer?
— Typically ranging
from 500 mm to 2500 mm, depending on structural load requirements.
• How deep can you bore?
— Up to 80 meters,
depending on soil conditions and rig capacity.
• How long does one pile
take?
—Depending on depth and
diameter.
